Ken Allen - Learning Facilitator I have been a teacher for thirteen years and a headteacher for twelve in inner city Liverpool. My interests include music; I am a pianist and keyboard player. I regularly play with a group of musicians and teach four pupils the piano. I enjoy walking in the countryside and as a member of the National Trust like visiting old houses of historical interest. I am a keen Science Fiction fan, particularly liking some of the more traditional authors from the 1930's - 1960's. |

Shirley Pickford - Learning Facilitator From a beginning in the Manchester area I've travelled extensively, taking a special interest in South East Asia where my mother's family have spread out from the upheavals in China. I've been a teacher ever since working with VSO in Nigeria but left the classroom in 1998 to work on Tesco SchoolNet 2000, a fabulous project by kids and for kids, and look forward to the future in education. |

Anthony Russell - Learning Facilitator After 28 years of teaching and a longer number learning I joined Tesco Schoolnet 2000 and then Ultralab. It is therefore a delight to be part of Ultralab. Beyond my interest in all things educational I am passionate about history and have researched, written about and produced exhibitions on the development of the Irish Town, the 1798 Rebellion, the Act of Union (the Irish one) and the Great Famine. As chair of the Newry and Mourne Millennium Company I organized and participated in a wide range of events including massive, happy concerts on the streets of our local towns and the laser Bridge of Peace across Carlingford Lough. |
