A bit more about me
I'm married to Steve and we have three children. Rachel who is 19 a and Michael and Sarah who are 16. When I left school, I joined a bank where I worked until I had Rachel. I was fortunate not to have to return to work so became a fulltime mum. I did however, have several part-time jobs to help the finances occasionally and to give me some financial independance.
As the kids got older, I've had jobs in administration which led to an interest in IT and marketing and event organising. I'm now picking up my education where I left off and embarking on this degree course. It seemes to tick all the right boxes for me and I'm hoping that it might even lead on to more formal employment later on.
I enjoy changing things around in the house although I leave the serious DIY to Steve. I did pass a Diploma in Interior Design a few years ago which I enjoyed but haven't wanted to take it any further.
