should genetic
enigneering of humans be allowed?
or even at all?

No, for
2 reasons. Firstly it would make other humans jealous. Secondly it would be
unethical, after all what if the human didn't want all of those perfections.
Maybe genetic engineering would work for fixing things like disability. It depends
what kind of genetic engineering we're talking about.

i think
genetic engineering will give people a fair chance in life.
You cant be made smart before your born you need to learn everyone has to learn.
Some people have problems learning and disrupts the class so if they all have
a equal chance to learn then everyone can learn better. even people that aren't
GM.
also genetic engineering can help out allot... with diseases and things. i say
one we have started GMing things we will be more advanced and we will advance
more. if you know what i mean. =P

nteresting............
Humans have so much to learn before they become "god-like".......
I'm pretty sure that humans havent studied Genetic Modification enough to be
able to geneticly modify our children to anything we want.......
I think maybe until we are more like Supreme Beings that we should only be able
to Geneticly Modify our children to defeat certain harsh deseases..... but minor
"genetic abnormalities" ie : *insert some minorly affecting desease
here* be left un-modified to maybe continue diversity, But even eradication
of all Genetic deseases wouldn't make us lack in diversity........
Even to go one step ahead of that, If everyone that wanted to Geneticly Modify
there children was allowed to (with no charge, meaning that we would have to
be so advanced in studies of it that it would be cheap to do) then sure almost
everyone on the planet would want to Geneticly Modify there children in some
way, BUT everyone wouldn't create the same child so still children would be
different all over the world, and EVEN IF (wtf this would never happen) EVERYONE
chose to make the EXACT same children(only 2 Human Genetic Modification models
used: 1 Male & 1 Female) then the experience of growing with different mental,
physical and spiritual stimulation would be completely different anyway so people
would grow up differently so it wouldn't be like a world of replicate clones.......
Everyone (except some people with severe disabilities) has the potential to
be a genius, YES EVEN YOU!
With Love.....

OMG wow
even me =P
lol to only problem with 2 differn't GM people models is the they all would
act differently but there would possibly be more of a chance of bumping into
someone who looks just like one of them.
I think you cant Engineer genetically someone a specific personality because
like xxxxx said its the way they are brought up.
like if you made a GM baby to not learn vary fast and stuck it in school and
made one that learns in seconds and put it in Box then the one in school would
be more intelligent. if you get what i mean he has leant how to behave. =P
