LA 1 Understand Reflective Practice - assessment product level guidance
Your chosen area of study is 'reflective practice' you should think in terms of producing a literature review, this is a critical commentary on the literature, this would include a synopsis and evaluation of key ideas you have uncovered and discussion as to how they relate, or could relate, to your practice. In this learning activity you consider how reflective practice theory, in particular the reflective models, could be applied to your own practice. This consideration will forge a pragmatic link between the theoretical aim and the practical reality. Amongst other questions you could consider: Where and how could I apply this theory ? What barriers might I face ?

Synthesizes a range of literature. Describes how use of theory could improve practice. Significant aspects of theories/ideas/ models from a range of relevant literature are considered together, cogent arguments are developed and illustrated by key quotations from the literature and from the online community discussions. The application of theories/ideas/ models to workplace practice is considered from a theoretical viewpoint, reference to personal experience is used to support discussion. |
