The mind map details the main problems I can see with the approach Rogers is advocating. I think it places a huge burden on the individual adult and although he talks at some length about the need for whole school support for a teacher with such a pupil - it doesn't seem to me to take on the reality or complexity of a situation where we are dealing with not one such child but several in every class in the school.
The whole area of the class as a dynamic group is overlooked in this approach with its emphasis on the individual. I realise that not all of Roger's work has such a narrow focus. Works such as Cracking the Hard Class (Rogers, 2003) take more of a whole class or even a whole school approach .
