What happened
I asked people who are members of the Classroom Displays Group on Flickr what I could do to make the blog better.
I decided to look for other places to share the blog so that more people could see it. I searched on Google for on-line communities that might be interested and eventually found the
TA Chat Forum. I found that there were teaching assistants talking about displays there already. I decided to join the forum, show them my blog and join in their conversations about displays.
This went really well. Several people agreed to help me improve the blog by telling me what they thought about it so that I could improve it even more. This became my second cycle of
data collection.
Then I analysed my data. I read what they had said really carefully and put it into sets (categories). These gave me a new set of changes to work on to improve the blog.
While this was happening I had an idea. The kind of research I am doing is called emergent research and this means that I can take my research off in a new direction if the data points that way.
